About Us

Kurt and Susan after 20+ years in the Valley of the Sun, did a reverse snowbird maneuver, and landed in Boston, Massachusetts in 2006.  Re-affiliating with Campus Crusade for Christ, after five vision-broadening years with Harvest Ministries, Kurt has assumed the interim leadership of the Worldwide Student Network for CCC's New England/New York region.  What does that mean?  The WSN director recruits Northeast staff and students to take the life-giving message of Jesus Christ to students around the world.  One-year STINTS, have jump-started hundreds of student ministries in places like Rome, Kyrgyzstan, and parts east.  Kurt wears other hats on the regional team as well, among them coaching CCC interns and figuring out venues for 450 spiritually enriched collegians to give Good News in word and deed throughout Boston.  Susan, no longer needed for carpooling or arranging play-dates, has launched the Transition Track, a means whereby high school seniors can be more safely handed off to those who will nurture their Christian faith during their university years.  Alex and Mark, however, have declared themselves "protected species," not to be removed from the Sonoran Desert, studying marketing renewable resources and kinesiology respectively, at ASU.  Lisa's trips home are much quicker and cheaper, as a rising sophomore at Gordon College on Massachusetts North Shore.
